In our Saturday Spotlights, we highlight four of our favorite artists of the week, including three feature.fm artists and one very special guest.
Here are the awesome songs and artists we loved listening to this week:
Night Shift by Chris Stylez
Toronto native **Chris Stylez** was this week's musical obsession.Coming across his music was such a welcome discover for all of us at feature.fm. This seriously talented gentleman started in Toronto and climbed his way into NYC's and Atlanta's music scenes. Along the way Chris was noticed by countless producers for his soulful voice and songwriting abilities. His music is a great homage to 90's R&B. Chris' live performances sealed the deal for us. Check out his live gig on [Snapchat Discover](https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=7&v=j-wffwKJqAA) in Venice, California earlier this year.
*Grace and Faith* by **Wake the Sun**
Wake the Sun has been a long time feature.fm favorite. These Long Island natives are the real deal. Wake the Sun plays loud rock. The real blues-based, soulful kind. Think Foo Fighters meets Kings of Leon meets The Black Keys. Sounds good right? We think so too. Their approach to making music and performing on stage is -- as they like put it -- no bullshit. They put their souls and emotions out there for all to see and feel. It's easy to understand why they already have such a dedicated fan following. We're excited to see what the future holds for them.
*Blue Sky Blue* by **Jay Woodward**
Jay Woodward is an indie-folk musician from Rochester, NY now based in Venice, CA. His first album "Letters We Told", recorded in his home studio Sierra Nevada Records, was released back in 2013. Jay conceived his debut album as an art project and an open letter. Through his music, Jay seeks to inspire within the listener a sense of self-awareness and introspection. When he's not composing beautiful music, Jay works as a sound engineer at Capitol Studios in Hollywood. His new single "Blue Sky Blue" was released just six days ago! We hope you'll love it as much as we do.
Concrete Vision by Still Parade
Still Parade is dream folk at its best and dreamiest. I was in the process of doing some research when I quickly realized it's impossible to find a bio, any bio, on Still Parade. So much like them, I'll let the music speak for itself. Enjoy.
