Feature.fm Saturday Spotlights Vol. 8
In our Saturday Spotlights, we highlight four of our favorite artists of the week, including three feature.fm artists and one very special guest.
We're pumped for Labor Day weekend, which of course means a four-day weekend and the final days of wearing white. As we prepare for these days of relaxation and fun, check out these awesome songs and artists we loved listening to this week:
Walk Away by DELTAMOUR
**DELTAMOUR** is a London-based British/Belgian pop duo. We loved the upbeat, fresh sounds the duo creates in each song. The duo originally started in a pop/dance girl-band called Goodbye Charlie by 80s pop star Thereza Bazar. DELTAMOUR has turned the UK and Ireland performing in night clubs and sporting events. They have also made TV appearances including "Not The One Show" on London Live. Look out for the new tracks to come from these two!Breathe by LE ft. Aiden Myers
LE is a Toronto-based indie alt hip-hop artist. The Bathurst Street-bred singer/songwriter stood out to us with his inspirational lyrics and melodic chords. The combination of indie style with hip-hop beats gives LE a unique sound. We definitely recommend checking his other songs out!
Cold Sushi by Myke Bogan
**Myke Bogan** is a hip-hop artist who currently resides in Portland, OR. His inspiration for making music is because "All I want is for kids to let loose to my music the way I used to when listening to Nirvana in the 90's growing up. I want to give someone the same feeling I had, like music was my cure. It's my passion, my drug, and my escape all at the same time. I wouldn't want to live in a world without it."We love Myke's fresh-flowing lyrics. He recently released his latest album, "Casino Carpet," which is available for free to download. Be sure to check him out!
Subterranean by We Are The Wilderness
We Are The Wilderness is an electronic duo from Texas turned city-livers currently residing in Manhattan. The duo submitted their song "Subterranean" on Twitter and we loved the awesome beats in the song. All of the songs have a unique sound and mesmerizing vocals. Shanda Woods (vocals) and Ryan Manchester (guitar, keys) met each other in high school but began their collaboration in 2011 when they met back up in Brooklyn.
Want to be featured in next week's feature.fm Saturday Spotlight? Follow us on Twitter and tag us in a tweet along with a link to your song. We keep tabs of all the submissions we like. If your music isn't featured the same week you shared your song, odds are it will in the following weeks!
Enjoy these great tunes and don't forget - kick back, relax and enjoy the Labor Day weekend!
